Officially from today, I can now announce that I have been selected to join the Ppinkydolls Design Team as a Colourist for 6 months to promote and showcase the increasing range of amazing digital images from the international artist Chrishanthi Liaropoulou.

The owner/artist, Chrishanthi, lives in Athens Greece, and has her own Etsy store displaying an array of little people, odd creatures, wounded children, soulful faces, deep emotions, each one telling a story from within ...!!

Available for purchase are:  Collectible Ppinky dolls, Art Prints, Mini and Original Paintings, Mini wood blocks, Art Dolls, Limited Edition signed prints, Coin Purses, Postcards and more.  And of course, digital images for the paper craft enthusiast.  I am so honoured to be working alongside a very talented artist.

The following images were my very first colour previews that I submitted.  You will find the link to the store and facebook page on the right hand side of my blog.

This will be a wonderful opportunity :)  Thank you to Chrishanthi xx

A few weeks ago Whimsy Stamps released Part 1 of their 2014 Holiday Collection. Today, the DT and GDT are extremely excited to start sneak peeks for the second part of their 2014 Holiday Collection! Over the next 3 days, myself and the team will reveal 18 *BRAND NEW* red rubber stamps/stamp sets and 6 *BRAND NEW* coordinating die/die sets. They will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store and selected Whimsy Stamps retailers on Wednesday. Whimsy is thrilled to welcome Stephanne Maraver, Vicki Parson, Denise Griffith, Debbie Jennett, Donna Rudy and Crissy Armstrong as Guest Designers for this release. Today we are excited to show you the brand new Art by Mi Ran, Crissy Armstrong and SC Design stamps and dies being released this month. For a full reveal of these stamps, hop on over to the Whimsy blog!

For today's project, I inked up "Penguins Hang a Wreath" from the "Crissy Armstrong Collection" and sentiment from "Whimsy Sentiments Collection".
I loved colouring this particular image, it was fun, cute and loads of detail.
I wanted the penguins to really stand out (and look fat and cuddly) so I fussy cut them from another image and then mounted them to help give them dimension and bring them to life.

Wood/Weatherboards: E11, E25, E37 and E47
Door & Front Step: E40 and E41 - Deco Art Snow Writer
