This image was hair raising to say the least ...

Here's another new(ish) image from Krista Smith called Lottie.

OMG the curls, what a tricky image to colour.  I recall her hair taking me approx 3-4 hours and I'm still not loving the result.  However, this is the fun of a colouring hobbie, I can always set myself a challenge and have another crack :)

At the moment, I am on a roll in colouring new images from Krista Smith.  I especially love the Snorkel girl.  At first I didn't know if the clown fish was swimming past or was it trapped in her goggles he he.

I still have a stash of Slinky Tart images by the lovely Tamara Van Wijk that I am yet to colour.  I cropped this image as I just adore her pretty face and rock-a-billy hair do.

More colouring fun ...

Okay, so I am totally addicted to my colouring again and doing it digitally is a lot of fun, and it takes me hours and hours to complete an image.  The fun part is if I make a mistake or don't like a colour, then it's so easy to change without starting all over again.

The images below are from Krista Smith and Tamara Van Wijk (the mermaid).

The first image started with a base of light blue followed by dark blue and apricot streaks, then I kept blending and shading and this is the end  result.  She has such a beautiful face.

I am new to colouring digitally, but I have now found a new way to colour my enormous collection of images.  This new app has all my copic pens and every tool I could ever imagine.

I'm back !!! And I'm ready to colour

Hi all, so it seems a got a little distracted and stopped colouring for a long while.  But I'm glad to say that I am back and have found my mojo and desire to colour once again.  Here are a few colourings I completed to get my creative juices flowing.  Digital images courtesy of Krista Smith, my ultra favourite artist when it comes to digital stamps.
