Slinky Tart

Slinky Tart is the new brand formerly known as "The Stamping Chef".  If you love to colour up smexy pin ups, then Slinky Tart is for you :)  The artist is the amazing Tamara van Wijk.  I am stoked that I get to colour Tamara's images to help showcase her art and promote her store :)  Check the store out frequently to see an amazing growing collection of smexy art - http://slinkytart.com/Store/

And whilst the web page is under development, I am stoked that one of my colourings has made the temporary position as the cover of the web page/shop.  I do love how she turned out.  One of my absolutely favourite colourings.

PPinkydolls - Valentine's Colour Preview

This week I am showcasing a Valentines Image called "Waiting for Him".  I experimented with some water colours on this image, was a little nervous in case I ruined the image, but I'm really glad with the result.

Saturated Canary..... Spring Guest Design Team calling :)

It's that time of year again, when the amazing artist Krista Smith, seeks out new Guest Design Team Members to get crafty and promote her gorgeous range of images.  A bundle of 5 new amazing images were released as part of the New Years celebration.  To enter, any Canary fan needs to use any of the new images and create something beautiful which will hopefully capture her eye.  I have used the images "May", "Best Friends Forever" and "Daydreams" as my entries.  Fingers crossed.  (Pick me, pick me x)

The colour combos for May's hair are part of the Warm Grey range W1-W7 with splashes of R20 & R22.  I have also used light streaks of white in her hair to make her strands more evident.

My skin colours were an experiment.  I started with E000, E11, W1 and W3 with some C3 - I have never used this combo ever, I just played and this was the result.  I normally use E000, E00, E11, E04, E13, E21 and R20 on the cheeks (and sometimes lips).

"Daydreams"

Daydreams hair is a combination of the E50 range, followed by my favourite skin combo mentioned above.  Her dress is part of the BG palette.  The base colour is BG10 with hints of darker blue greens to enhance her folds.

The East Wind

I haven't coloured many East Wind images before, but they are truly amazing pieces to colour.  I love a pretty image with beautiful eyes, hair and lips - and these images sure do tick all the boxes :)

"Love"

As a thank you for entering the Guest Design Team call over at Saturated Canary, Krista Smith gifted a digital image to each entrant in appreciation of their efforts/projects that were submitted.  I chose the image "Love" and she is just beautiful.  I have a thing for mermaids, maybe it's a Piscean thing.  I also have a mermaid tattooed on my upper arm, and she too is a saucy little princess.

Celebration Time - Ppinkydolls Design Team

Officially from today, I can now announce that I have been selected to join the Ppinkydolls Design Team as a Colourist for 6 months to promote and showcase the increasing range of amazing digital images from the international artist Chrishanthi Liaropoulou.

The owner/artist, Chrishanthi, lives in Athens Greece, and has her own Etsy store displaying an array of little people, odd creatures, wounded children, soulful faces, deep emotions, each one telling a story from within ...!!

The Paper Nest Dolls

Bonjour my friends.  I was fortunate to receive a gift of two images from the artist Christine Young, of The Paper Nest Dolls some weeks ago because she admired my colouring.  Today I had opportunity to sit and colour this beautiful French Girl Avery.  Merci :)
